The local competition on Saturday, February 7th brings together over 120 high school students from around Alaska to test their knowledge of global affairs. Over 40 local World Affairs Councils host the competition across the country. The winning team from each local competition is invited to participate in the National Competition hosted in Washington, D.C. each April.

Teachers and Students must submit a completed application to participate in the local competition. Download the application here.

See the WorldQuest page for more information about the competition.

Adults can support the high school students and test their knowledge of global affairs by participating in the competition on an adult team! Adult teams are not eligible for the National Competition but will have the opportunity to win door prizes!
