SUMMARY:Academic Student WorldQuest Competition
DESCRIPTION:Academic WorldQuest is a team competition testing students’ k
 nowledge of global issues in many categories including cybersecurity\, glo
 bal economic realignment\, geography\, current events\, U.N. Millennium Go
 als\, and more!\n\nThe local competition on Saturday\, February 7th brings
  together over 120 high school students from around Alaska to test their k
 nowledge of global affairs. Over 40 local World Affairs Councils host the 
 competition across the country. The winning team from each local competiti
 on is invited to participate in the National Competition hosted in Washing
 ton\, D.C. each April.\n\nTeachers and Students must submit a completed ap
 plication to participate in the local competition. Download the applicatio

 ion.\n\nAdults can support the high school students and test their knowled
 ge of global affairs by participating in the competition on an adult team!
  Adult teams are not eligible for the National Competition but will have t
