This event is sold out. Due to an overwhelming interest in this program we have added a second event in the evening.
As elections dominate headlines, the integrity of reporting becomes crucial in shaping public understanding and opinion. Join us as we welcome James Jordan, News Director for Europe and Africa for The Associated Press, who will explore the pressing challenges posed by disinformation, misinformation, and gaps in information coverage during election cycles. Gain insights into how journalists and news organizations can uphold the principles of free and fair reporting in an era where the battle for accurate information is more critical than ever.
Due to popular demand we will be hosting two programs on October 10 with James Jordan. Please note that the Noon program will have an audience primarily made up of local students (university, high school, and middle school) and the evening program will be mostly adult community members. Please register for whichever program best fits your schedule, or feel free to attend both!
