America: The Next 250 Years | March 20, 2025 | 7:00 PM | Anchorage Museum

One of America’s most prolific and preeminent historians, University of Texas Professor H.W. Brands will speak on “America: The Next 250 Years,” at 7 p.m. March 20, 2025, at the Anchorage Museum. Author of 30 books, including two that were finalists for the Pulitzer Prize, Brands is a frequent guest on national and international media programs.

UAA 20th Annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference | March 21 & 22

The philosophy department invites you to attend UAA’s 20th Annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference.  The conference will be held at UAA’s main campus.  Our conference features student papers, panels, and a keynote speaker on a wide variety of philosophical issues.  Refreshments will be available.  The conference is open to the public.
