With Alaska’s Permanent Fund serving as one of the state’s most valuable legacies, what insights can we gain from the world’s largest sovereign wealth fund—Norway’s $2 trillion Government Pension Fund Global?

Join us for a timely discussion with Paul Marcussen and Roar Wold, who bring firsthand expertise from Norway’s financial and energy sectors. Moderated by Lise Kristiansen, Honorary Consul of Norway in Alaska, the conversation will explore how Norway manages its vast oil wealth to balance present needs with future prosperity—and what lessons Alaska might draw as it charts the next chapter for its own Permanent Fund.

From sustainable investment strategies to intergenerational equity and transparency in governance, this conversation will shed light on how resource-rich regions can turn finite wealth into lasting benefit.
