The World Affairs Council of Miami and the Alaska World Affairs Council, in partnership with the Parliament of Denmark, invite you to a timely and high-level conversation on Greenland, U.S.–Danish relations, and the Arctic. Featuring Danish Member of Parliament Aaja Chemnitz, Chair of the Parliament’s Greenland Committee and a leading voice on Arctic and Greenlandic affairs, this virtual program will explore Greenland’s growing geopolitical significance, the state of the transatlantic relationship, emerging security and climate challenges in the Arctic, and the perspectives of Greenlanders on the future of the world’s largest island and place they call home.
The discussion will be co-moderated by Aaron Rosen, President & Founder of the World Affairs Council of Miami, and Siobhan Choi, President & CEO of the Alaska World Affairs Council, offering perspectives that bridge both sides of the Atlantic and both coasts of the United States.
