DESCRIPTION:\n\nJoin us for a thought-provoking panel discussion that delve
 s into the rich mosaic of religious diversity\, as we bring together estee
 med leaders from various faith traditions to explore the question: Can dif
 ferent religions in the world coexist?\n\nIn a world marked by cultural pl
 uralism and global interconnectedness\, understanding and fostering harmon
 y among diverse religious beliefs is more crucial than ever. Our distingui
 shed panel of religious leaders will engage in a nuanced conversation\, sh
 aring insights from their respective faiths and exploring avenues for mutu
 al understanding\, respect\, and coexistence.\n\n\n\nMeet the panelists\nH
 eather Barbour is an attorney in Anchorage\, and is a member and represent
 ative of the Islamic Community Center of Anchorage\, Alaska (ICCAA)\, the 
 largest Muslim community in Alaska. Heather was raised as a Christian\, bu
 t began a serious study of Islam following 9/11 with a scholar in Californ
 ia\, while in law school. She converted to Islam in 2004. Heather came to 
 Alaska in 2007\, and became involved with the ICCAA\, where she later met 
 her husband. Heather is a Sunni Muslim\, and is involved with interfaith d
 ialogue\, outreach\, and education.\n\nReverend Matt Schultz is the pastor
  at First Presbyterian Church of Anchorage. He has a background in theolog
 y and community engagement and is involved with Christians for Equality\, 
 the Homelessness Leadership Council\, and other advocacy groups dedicated 
 to making a positive impact.\n\nFather Simeon B Johnson (Khaakwaa Éesh) w
 ith the Saint Innocent Orthodox Cathedral.\nMeet the moderator\nJoel Potte
 r is an associate professor of philosophy at UAA and associate dean - facu
 lty for the College of Arts and Sciences. Joel completed his doctorate in 
 philosophy at the State University of New York at BUffalo with a dissertat
 ion on the role of the emotions in philosophical inquiry. A father of thre
 e\, Joel enjoys spending time with his family\, walking\, reading\, fishin
 g\, and facilitating discussions about the big questions.\n\n\n\nPROGRAM D
 ETAILS\n\n 	Check-in will begin at 11:30am with seating available on a fir
 st-come first-serve basis. The program will begin at 12:00pm.\n 	Those wit
 h online reservations do not need to present ticket confirmation at the do
 or\, we will have all confirmed attendees on a list at check-in.\n 	Online
  registration closes at 6:00 pm on March 26. Tickets will be available for
