  Husick’s experience as a technology consultant\, computer system design
 er\, and software author\, as well as his career as an intellectual proper
 ty lawyer give him a unique perspective on technology’s importance in in
 ternational relations\, war fighting\, and terrorism. As a Foreign Policy 
 Research Institute Senior Fellow and co-director of its Center for the Stu
 dy of Terrorism\, he applies his knowledge to the study of terrorist tacti
 cs and counter-terrorism strategies\, with a particular focus on technolog
 y leverage as a defining characteristic of the modern terrorist. He also c
 o-directs the Institute’s Wachman Center Program on Innovation.\n\nMr. H
 usick holds a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in Environmental Chemis
 try from Muhlenberg College in Allentown\, Pennsylvania. He holds a Juris 
 Doctor degree from the Washington College of Law in Washington\, D.C.\n\nH
 e is a partner in Lipton\, Weinberger &amp\; Husick\, an intellectual prop
 erty law firm in Malvern\, Pennsylvania\, and is an adjunct faculty member
  at the Johns Hopkins University in the Whiting Graduate School of Enginee
 ring and in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences’ Graduate Biotechnol
 ogy Program. He is a founder of several entrepreneurial ventures\, includi
 ng Infonautics\, PocketDoctor.com and Cloud Pharmaceuticals\, Inc.\, where
  he serves as Chief Innovation Officer. Mr. Husick serves on the boards of
  the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center\, the Clear Vision Fo
 undation\, is the immediate past chair of the Board of Visitors of the Uni
 versity of the Sciences Samson College of Allied Health Professions\, the 
 Muhlenberg College RJ Fellows Honors Program\, and is a founding board mem
 ber of the Quantum Cures Foundation\, which uses massively parallel comput
 ing systems to design new vaccines\, treatments and cures for orphan\, rar
 e and neglected diseases.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
