 ion\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers:\n\nEugenia Urania Da Costa Correia\nEugenia Urania 
 Da Costa Correia is a passionate and well-rounded professional who special
 izes in grant writing and conflict mediation. As the Small Grant Manager f
 or Belun NGO\, Correia is currently collaborating with managers\, consulta
 nts\, and research groups to prepare grant proposals and conduct research 
 on resolution strategies. After her fellowship in the US\, Eugenia plans t
 o apply skills she has learned to develop new strategies for conflict reso
 lution to reduce domestic violence in her home of Timor-Leste. One of the 
 most important strategies Correia plans to employ is education\, improving
  local knowledge of domestic violence laws.\n\nCorreia has previously gain
 ed experience in a variety of fields. As a Peace Building Project Coordina
 tor\, she supervised staff and facilitated educational programs for youth\
 ; especially those involved in martial arts gangs. As a National Gender Co
 nsultant\, Correia gained valuable experience in research: she led the sur
 vey team\, reported the findings\, and finally conducted the final evaluat
 ion for the Development Agriculture Community Project.\n\nCorreia holds a 
 Bachelor of Arts in Educational Sciences: Mathematics from the National Un
 iversity of Timore-Lorosa’e and a Master of Arts in Social and Political
  Sciences: Peace and Conflict Studies from the Meio University (Japan).\n\
 nMargaret Mutsamvi\nMargaret Mutsamvi\, currently a Program Officer at Sav
 anna Trust\, focuses on the issue of gender discrimination and actively wo
 rks to promote gender equality and empower women. A dedicated human rights
  activist\, Mutsamvi is involved in the Community Solutions Program to imp
 lement change in the marginalized communities of Zimbabwe. By learning how
  to mainstream projects\, Mutsamvi plans to increase access to information
  and form opportunities for personal development for women upon her return
  to Zimbabwe.\n\nMargaret has worked with many different groups to increas
 e her participation and understanding in coalitions working toward change.
  For example\, Margaret has extensive experience in managing projects with
  the “Do You Care Foundation” and the Savanna Trust. Margaret has also
  diversified her skills with training volunteers with the African Women’
 s Initiatives in Developing Economies and representing the interests of lo
 cal women as a board member with the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Develo
 pment.\n\nMargaret is highly educated\, with a Bachelor of Science in Econ
 omics from the University of Zimbabwe\, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sustain
 able Community Development\, and a Higher National Diploma in Labour Relat
 ions.\n\nModerator - Hilary A. Morgan\n Hilary is the CEO of the YWCA Alas
 ka. She is nationally recognized as a leader in the fields of homelessness
 \, housing\, diversity and women’s issues. No stranger to the for-profit
  world Morgan spent her younger years on Wall Street and founded Resourcef
 ul Results\, LLC\, a program and systems architecture company specializing
  in transformational solutions to persistent social justice challenges wit
 h clients in New York\, Washington\, DC and Alaska. Among her numerous awa
 rds and achievements are a Rockefeller Next Generation Leadership Fellowsh
 ip\, the Mayor’s Award for Public Service (Anchorage\, AK)\, the Citizen
  of the Year Award by the National Social Workers Association and the YWCA
 /BP Alaska Woman of Achievement award. Morgan is also the author of Nuts a
 nd Bolts of Effective Task Force Development: An Analysis of a Community T
 ask Force on Homelessness and producer of Homeward Bound\, A Way to a Bett
 er Life.\n\n\n\nThe IREX Community Solutions Program is a professional dev
 elopment program for the best and brightest global community leaders worki
 ng in transparency and accountability\, tolerance and conflict resolution\
 , environmental issues\, and women and gender issues. Leaders participate 
 in a four month US fellowship with a local nonprofit organization or gover
 nment agency\, structured virtual learning and networking via the Online C
 ommunity Leadership Institute\, and the design and implementation of follo
 w-on projects in their home countries.\n\n\n\nThe WorldMatters series is m
