 sed at the door.\n\nSpeaker Bios:\n\nDr. Yaso Thiru\, Professor of Account
 ing and Management\, Alaska Pacific University\nYaso teaches business at A
 laska Pacific University and as an educator\, would like to inspire her st
 udents to make a difference. After years of teaching accounting in the con
 text of profit maximization alone\, Yaso now explores how profits can be a
  tool for social and environmental justice. She focuses on problems in the
  community that would take entrepreneurial interventions to solve\, drawin
 g on her managerial accounting background. Yaso researches\, learns from\,
  and works with social entrepreneurs\, writing about what makes them succe
 ssful and how they impact their community\, and contributing to global res
 earch attempting to model social enterprises. She is inspired by social en
 trepreneurs and seeks to inspire others by sharing their stories.\n\n&nbsp
 \;\n\nEric McCallum\, President\, Arctic Wire Rope &amp\; Supply\nEric McC
 allum has extensive experience and has acted as a mentor in both business 
 and philanthropy. He acts as an angel investor in market solutions to addr
 ess poverty and climate changed\, and is the guarantor and board member fo
 r MCE Social Capital (www.mcesocap.org) an innovative lending institution 
 that has made $100 million of micro loans placed throughout the world by l
 everaging guarantees. He is also leading other Anchorage businesses in loo
 king at commercial energy efficiency as the cheapest form of new energy wi
 th superior return on investment when compared to other investments.\n\nMo

 ograms Director for the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce\, and Editor of thei
 r Advancing Anchorage MAG. He was first published as a journalist while wo
 rking for the Anchorage Daily News at age 16. Since then he has been featu
 red in numerous statewide publications. Corey is one of the most knowledge
 able people in Alaska on the “Millennial Generation” having founded bo
 th the largest student-run organization and the largest young professional
  organization in Alaska. He also helped pioneer the concept of Geotourism 
 in Alaska in 2013 after working with various tourism executives looking to
  boost rural tourism opportunities. He helped create the Alaska Geotourism
  Charter and was co-chair of the organization\, which comprised dozens of 
 tourism businesses and executives from around the state. In 2015\, he gave
  the first TED talk on geotourism in the world. Corey is an active member 
 of the Board of Directors for Visit Anchorage and the Alaska World Affairs
  Council\, and is also the president of the Anchorage Downtown Community C
 ouncil. He’s a proud alum of East High School\, graduated with honors fr
 om the University of Alaska Anchorage with a B.A. in Journalism\, and is a
