DESCRIPTION:\n\nHomeless youth in Anchorage are trafficked at a higher rate
  than any other American city studied. Nearly half of the victims of traff
 icking are Alaska Native. Join us to learn more about what is happening an
 d how the International Coalition for Prevention and Empowerment is workin
 g with Alaskan organizations to rescue these endangered youth and prevent 
 future trafficking.\n\nFollowing the presentation we will be joined by a p
 anel of experts for the Q&amp\;A session. Guest panelists include Kelsey P
 otdevin\, Education and Outreach Manager at the Alaska Native Justice Cent
 er\; Jessica Svetkovich\, Department of Justice Coordinator at the Knik Tr
 ibe\; and a representative from the FBI\nFeatured speaker:\nTyson Wright i
 s the founder and director of International Coalition for Prevention and E
 mpowerment\, a nonprofit focused on the prevention of human trafficking an
 d exploitation through education\, awareness\, and empowerment. Tyson has 
 been supporting the fight against human trafficking since 2014. He has wor
 ked with communities around the world to develop targeted prevention progr
 ams to protect vulnerable individuals. Tyson has a degree in Business Man
 agement and Non-profit management and is currently working on degrees in C
 riminal Justice and Sociology.\n\nTyson has certifications in Trauma and R
 esilience\, and Human Trafficking Prevention and Intervention. He is on th
 e board of the Washington County Children's Justice Center and the DOVE Ce
 nter\, a domestic violence shelter\, and enjoys volunteering in his commun
 ity.\n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS\n\n 	Check-in will begin at 11:30am with seati
 ng available on a first-come first-serve basis. The program will begin at 
 12:00pm.\n 	Those with online reservations do not need to present ticket c
 onfirmation at the door\, we will have all confirmed attendees on a list a
 t check-in.\n 	Lunch at this program will be available for individual orde
 r and purchase from Bear Tooth Theatre. If you wish to do so\, plan on arr
 iving early to ensure you receive your meal by the end of the program.\n 	
 Online registration closes at 6:00 pm on February 7. Tickets will be avail
 able for purchase at the door the next day\, unless the program is sold ou
