Dr. Marc Massoud received
his MBA and his Ph.D. in
Accounting from The Graduate
School of Business at New
York University. He is
currently the Robert A. Day
Distinguished Professor of
Accounting at Claremont
McKenna College.
Prior to joining the faculty
at Claremont McKenna, Dr.
Massoud was a professor and
chairman of the Department
of Accounting at California
State Polytechnic
University, Pomona and at
Shippensburg State
University in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Massoud is the associate
editor of Advances in
Accounting (JAI Press Inc.,
1989) and the author of the
chapter on "Impairment of
Asset Values" in the
Blackwell Encyclopedia of
Management (London:
Blackwell Publishers, 1997).
He has written numerous book
reviews and articles
published in refereed
journals. He is a member of
the American Accounting
Association, the Financial
Executives Institute, the
Institute of Management
Accounting, and the Decision
Sciences Institute.
